Wire Rod Mill
Author : hani Time : 2023/01/11We all know that speed is very important. The wire rod mill is the F1 of rolling mills and the best reference to prove the capabilities of a design and manufacturing leader like Hani Tech.
The key to success in this rolling mill field is mainly reflected in the speed, control, process, and metallurgical results.
Hani Tech’s strength lies in having a team of specialists and technical engineers with high skills and knowledge based on decades of executing wire rod mill projects.
Technology
As a long-rolling of technology driver, Hani Tech applies knowledge and experience to provide the best wire rod mill solutions in terms of technology, reliability, and return on investment, a very important factor considering the highly competitive market conditions.
The combination of appropriate equipment provides a wide range of applications, from commercial grades to the finest SBQ grades, with tight dimensional tolerances, metallurgical quality, uniformity, and ultimately perfect surface quality requirements.
All self-developed key wire rod mill equipment is as follows:
High-speed finishing blocks mills/wire rod mills.
State-of-the-art cooling line laying heads.
Cooling conveyor with efficient cooling fan and insulating cover.
The coil-forming chamber has a device to better distribute the waps inside the coil, ensuring a compact coil shape.
Horizontal and vertical coil handling systems are equipped with compacting and strapping devices.
Laying Head
Hani Tech has patented a new wire rod mill laying head design that improves equipment performance and simplifies maintenance. Simplified tubing replacement reduces clamps by 36% of those used in standard techniques. Reduced split ring wear eliminates broken tail ends. Improved motor orientation results in tighter wire tolerances.
Coil-handling Line
Hani Tech has been designing, manufacturing, installing, and commissioning coil-handling equipment for decades. The coils are handled and cooled in a vertical pallet system before being transferred to a horizontal hook system which transports the coils to the compactor unit. Trimming and quality stations are located on the coil handling line.
