Products of High Speed Wire Rod Mill
1. High speed wire rod mill with wire rod operation also produces wire rods with diameters of 20-60 mm. In terms of product variety, not only carbon structural steel wire rods can be produced, but also almost all kinds of steel wire rods can be produced. In addition to producing round section smooth wire rods, corresponding thread wire rods can also be produced, with a square section of 5-16 mm edge length and hexagonal wire rods of 5-16 mm inner tangential circle diameter.
2. High-speed wire rod mill with its precise pass design, reasonable tension and looper control, single-line non-twist high-speed continuous rolling mode, and sufficient steel structure and wear-resistant roll material, ensures that the product has the sectional dimension accuracy that ordinary rolling mill cannot maintain. Usually, the accuracy of product cross-section size can reach positive or negative 0.1 mm (to 5.5-8 mm) and positive or negative 0.2 mm (to 9-16 mm), and the non-roundness of the cross-section is not more than 80% of the total deviation of cross-section size. In recent years, there has been new round-forming equipment, which can control the deviation of cross-section size to positive or negative 0.05 mm. But although high-speed wire rod mill can produce high-precision products, because the social demand of wire rod does not require such high section size accuracy, in actual production, in order to reasonably use the rolling groove and meet the needs of various section size accuracy, the product section size accuracy is usually controlled at positive or negative 0.1 mm-positive or negative 0.3 mm.
3. At present, the fluctuation of the tensile strength of the same wire rod is not more than 2.5% positive or negative, and the fluctuation of the tensile strength of the same brand is not more than 4%.
