The laying head of the wire rod mill is an important equipment in the wire rod mill production line. Its function is to roll the straight wire rod from the rolling mill into a circle and lay it on the loose roll transportation roller table. Its smooth operation is of great significance to improve the yield and operation rate. With the continuous application of new rolling technology and the continuous improvement of rolling speed, the rolling speed of some advanced l-turning machines has reached more than 120m / S.
The laying head of the high-speed wire rod mill is mainly composed of transmission devices, tubular shafts, laying pipes, laying disk,s and bearing seats. After the wire is rolled out from the high-speed finishing mill, it is fed into the tubular shaft of the laying head by the pinch roll in front of the laying head through the conduit. The motor drives the tubular shaft to rotate through the speed increasing machine, and the tubular shaft drives the laying pipe and the laying disk fixed on the tubular shaft to rotate, so that the wire entering the tubular shaft is ejected along the tangential direction of the circumference through the laying pipe, and then falls on the loose roll transportation roller table through the self-weight.
When the laying head of the wire rod mill is working, the steel will slide in the laying pipe at a certain speed. Under the action of centrifugal force, relative motion inertia force, and friction force generated by the sliding in the laying pipe, the straight-line moving wire will gradually bend and reach the required curvature at the outlet of the laying pipe. Theoretical requirements of high-speed wire rod mill laying head: the acceleration value at the inlet and outlet of the wire rod mill laying pipe is zero, and the outlet speed is zero, and the steel forms a static ring after passing through the laying head.
