Equipment Composition and Use
Chopping shear is composed by motor, shear machine housing, base, pinch roll and knife rest. The chopping shear is fixed behind the track switch and is used to chop the rolled piece cut off by the head cutting flying shear and falling into the chute of scrap collection device when some failure occurred to the rolling line.
Chopping shear consists of the motor, shear frame, base, pinch roller, and blade adapter. The shearing machine frame is composed of a lower base, a middlebox and an upper box, and a pair of meshing gears are arranged inside. The driving input shaft is the lower shearing shaft, and a shearing shaft is driven by the gears. The ends of the two shearing shafts are equipped with pulleys that are rotated with the belt driving clamps.
The rack consists of three parts: the lower stand, the middle box, and the upper box. The rack includes a pair of meshing gears with a gear ratio I=1.
The motor and shear frame is mounted on a steel plate welded base.
Broken and cut a pair of shearing holders (upper knife holder, lower knife holder) are fitted on the shearing shaft and fixed on the driving knife shaft by the wedge plate.
Two cutting blades are mounted on the upper and lower cutter shafts of the chopping shear. Three blades are mounted on the cutter shaft at an angle of 120°. When the shearing shaft rotates at 120°, a pair of blades are engaged. The shears complete three shears per revolution.
